Our Objective

Our objective is simple; to offer a selection of products that assist and improve the daily lives of the person in need and the lives of the care giver.


An informal, friendly and down to earth approach is how all great conversations begin. We are dedicated to finding a practical and personal solution for our clients, caregivers and healthcare professionals.


We will work closely in achieving a solution that suits the individual by showcasing our carefully selected products to suit.

Company History

The company is a family business that was formed in 2005 and was originally formed to supply imported furniture actions into the furniture manufacturing industry in the UK.


The business ran alongside Disabled Care Ltd from offices in Cheltenham where specialised beds and seating were supplied on a national basis until 2007 when the provisions of all products came under the Spacesaverbeds name after the sale of Disabled Care Ltd. The company is now located in Worcester.


We supply a range of high-quality care aids and furniture actions.

Why We Started the Company

Following a visit to RehaCare (Europe’s care industry show) in Germany we were fascinated by the Belitec bed that was displayed as a solution create space for a less able person. Following that a visit to the German manufacturer Hartman Asytec instigated us starting the company to import the bed actions and have supplied them to manufacturers of fitted furniture, interior designers, mobile home suppliers and hospices ever since.

Who we serve 

Our product range are supplied to the general public, trade companies and very often to the public sector. Most of our care aids are supplied to the public following involvement by a healthcare professional.


The instigation of our involvement is usually by contact from the healthcare professional to visit their client with them to carry out an assessment for a product to provide a solution to a need that they, parents or carers have identified. An assessment report is then supplied with a quotation if desired following the visit.


We carry out installation of all the products at the desired location, full training on use of the product is carried out after installation. All products come with a full warranty that includes parts and labor.



Our core values 

Over the 25 years we have been involved in the supply of care equipment as both Disabled Care and Spacesaverbeds, it is fair to say the industry has changed in good and bad ways , positively there are some fantastic products to assist less able people and those that care for them available today and still some interesting and genuine companies supplying the products, but in our opinion the genuine personal interest in the client by many suppliers has diminished.
 
So, we at Spacesaverbeds are passionate as well as being genuinely interested in the service we supply to our customers and those that work with them. We want them to feel relaxed with our approach to the whole process from initial inquiry and discussion, through to the home visit and with our after sales service. Providing a high-quality product that is reliable and a service to back it up if needed is important to us.
